Terms of Service

1. Who can use Aurelia

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorised to do so.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@aurelia.app of any unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages ("spam") or violate anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR).
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at scale, overload, or interfere with the Service.
• Upload malware, illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Use the AI advisor to generate content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or violates applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Starter (€49/month) and Professional (€99/month) include a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial.
• Founding Member (€299) is a one-time payment for lifetime access, not a recurring subscription.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Prices are in Euros (EUR) and exclude applicable taxes, which are added at checkout.

5. Refunds

You can cancel any time during the 14-day free trial with no charge. Once your card is charged, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. The Founding Member one-time purchase is refundable within 14 days of purchase if you have not made substantial use of the Service.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to the data you enter or upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it solely to provide the Service to you. See our Privacy Policy.

7. AI-generated content

The Service uses AI models to generate drafts, suggestions and analyses. Output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it or sending it to third parties.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance, update features, or change pricing with reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Aurelia does not provide legal, financial or tax advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurelia's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Berlin have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
